Cub Scouts enjoy day of fishing, teaching others at Youth Fishing Derby in Redmond

At the Fireman's Pond in Redmond Saturday afternoon, Cub Scouts enjoyed a day of fishing and teaching other people how to fish. The Scouts and community participated in a Community Fishing Derby. It was an event for children 13 and under- to learn how to bait a hook, cast, net, and release. Prizes also were awarded to the young participants.
