NAMPA, Idaho (KTVZ) – A 2-year-old Nampa, Idaho boy who was the subject of an Amber Alert received across a wide area, including Central Oregon, has been found, police said Saturday. They are still seeking his non-custodial father, accused of felony domestic battery with traumatic injuries.
Police said Rudy Oziah Reyes had been found safe, though further details were not provided.
They said the boy’s father, Rodolfo Reyes, 36, was still outstanding and wanted. “If you know his whereabouts or see him, use caution and call law enforcement,” a Facebook posting said.
The father last was seen just before 10 a.m. Saturday in the 1500 block of South Florence Street in Nampa, according to an updated wanted flyer. He was wanted on a nationwide extradition warrant in a case of felony domestic battery with traumatic injury.
Reyes was described as 5-foot-9 and 190 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes, last seen wearing a white tank top and jeans. He is known to carry a pistol, police said.
He was seen in a silver passenger car, possibly a gray 2008 Lexus IS, Idaho license plate 2CTJ790.
According to the initial police post, the child was taken from a yard in the 80 block of North Yale Street at 10:55 a.m. Thursday.
