Crook County urges organizations apply for Meta Data Center Community Action Grants

PRINEVILLE, Ore. (KTVZ) -- Crook County says it's pleased to share that applications are now open for the 2025–2026 Meta Data Center Community Action Grants.

These grants offer an important opportunity for local nonprofits and schools across Prineville and Crook County to receive funding for projects that strengthen and support the community.

“I want to thank Meta for their ongoing investment in Crook County,” said County Commissioner Seth Crawford. “Through the Community Action Grant program, Meta continues to demonstrate a strong commitment to our residents, our schools, and the future of our region. We are grateful for their partnership and their focus on meaningful, long-term impact.”

Grants are available for projects that:

  • Put the power of technology to use for community benefit
  • Empower people to build strong, sustainable communities
  • Improve local science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM) education

Application Deadline: November 21, 2025, and Award recipients will be announced in the spring of 2026
