PRINEVILLE, Ore. (KTVZ) -- The Crook County Foundation said Wednesday it was pleased to announce a $5,000 contribution from Fortis Construction in support of the 2025 Holiday Partnership.

"This gift reflects Fortis Construction’s long-standing commitment to both the Holiday Partnership and the broader Crook County community," the organization said in a news release that continues below:

The Holiday Partnership is a countywide effort that provides food assistance, gifts, and seasonal support for children, seniors, and adults with disabilities. In 2024, the program served 564 children, more than 200 seniors, and 42 adults with disabilities, providing food assistance to 364 households.

“We are grateful for Fortis Construction’s continued commitment to this program,” said Gwen Carr, executive director of the Crook County Foundation. “Their support helps ensure families and seniors across Crook County receive the care and connection they need this season.”

The Foundation reports that there is still a financial need to meet this year’s rising demand. Increased food insecurity and the overall cost of food continue to place significant pressure on families, making community support especially important.

Community members who wish to help are encouraged to donate, volunteer, or select a gift tag. Information is available at www.ccholidaypartnership.com and www.crookcountyfoundation.org.
