La PINE, Ore. (KTVZ) – A fire Sunday night destroyed a manufactured home in the La Pine area whose residents were away at the time, La Pine Rural Fire District officials said Monday.

A neighbor called to report the blaze at a home on Pole Pine Road. Crews arrived to find it fully involved, officials said.

No injuries were reported to people or pets, except some fish in a tank. Nearby vehicles were protected by fire crews who remained on the scene for about five hours and used about 11,000 gallons of water.

Sunriver Fire provided mutual aid, while Mid State Electric Cooperative also assisted at the scene.

An investigation into the cause had not taken place by midday Monday due to heavy snow conditions and the condition of the structure.
