KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. (KTVZ) -- Searchers by air, ground and water have so far been unable to find a Chiloquin-area man whose kayak overturned during a Memorial Day outing on Klamath Lake.

Deputies were dispatched around 6:30 p.m. Monday to a call of a person who had flipped over in a kayak, sheriff's office Public Information Officer and Emergency Manager Brandon Fowler said.

Roger Combs, 52, recently relocated to the Chiloquin area, near Modoc Point, Fowler said.

"The kayak has been located and flotation devices are missing," Fowler wrote, "and we are hopeful that Combs made it back to shore."

Combs last was seen wearing a camo life jacket, white T-shirt and dark blue jeans.
