Let’s Talk Weather: Ponderosa Elementary

Members of the KTVZ weather team spoke to the kindergarten students at Ponderosa Elementary school on February 6th. The kiddos showed a great interest in the weather and they also have a daily weather reporter that helps them prepare for the weather outside the school.

The students are learning about rainbows and thermometers and other weather related topics so they can prepare for the elements. Chief Meteorologist John Carroll read to them from his book "The Adventures of Robbie the Raindrop" which talks about the water cycle and the need for everyone to recycle.

Thanks to Ms. Storey for asking our team to come and speak to the very well behaved group of students.
