There’s Good News: Seal goes viral for his bond with rubber ducks

NEW ENGLAND (WRAL) -- The New England Aquarium has a celebrity in its midst! The aquarium's playful seal is making a big splash online--all thanks to one specific toy.

Reggae the seal is going viral for how much he loves his rubber duckies.

Serena Wierman has been part of Reggae's team for six years--she says his rubber duckies are an important part of his cognitive training, specifically for what's called the "find it" behavior.

Serena says it's a really great way to get him utilizing his natural searching behaviors like he would use out in the oceans.

If he has the ducks out, he tends to gravitate towards the duck--which is a really great way to show he's engaged in that training and enjoys what he's doing.
