SISTERS, Ore. (KTVZ) - A 26-year-old Sisters man was arrested early Saturday morning after a series of reported break-ins at businesses along Rail Way in Sisters, according to the Deschutes County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies responded to an alarm and report of broken glass at the Mainline Station, located at 1001 Rail Way, around 2:50 a.m., Lt. Chad Davis said in a news release. The Mainline Station houses a Chevron gas station, a convenience store, and a McDonald's restaurant.
While en route, a citizen called 911 to report seeing a man in dark clothing leaving the area and heading toward Ray's Food Place, potentially connected to the alarm.
Upon arrival, deputies found damaged windows and items scattered outside the Mainline Station. As they searched the area, they discovered a broken front door window at Ray's Food Place and additional damage at Level 5 Fitness.

A man matching the witness's description was located near the Sisters Inn and Suites, detained, and subsequently taken into custody. He was identified as Christien Richardson of Sisters.
Richardson was arrested and taken to the Deschutes County Adult Jail on charges of second-degree burglary (one count), first-degree criminal mischief (two counts), and third-degree criminal mischief (one count).
Follow-up investigations revealed extensive damage to the fuel pumps, exterior glass, and interior of the convenience store and McDonald's at the Mainline Station. Both businesses were temporarily closed for repairs but have since reopened. Ray's Food Place also sustained damage requiring repairs and cleanup, which briefly delayed its opening.
