Olympic record set twice by Dutch skaters in men’s 1500m

Dutch speed skater Thomas Krol set the Olympic record in the men’s 1500m race during the 10th pairing. Kjeld Nuis, also of the Netherlands, then bested Krol’s mark on the next turn and won the Olympic gold medal.
