Ayumu Hirano lands first Olympic triple cork in the halfpipe

On his first run of the men’s snowboard halfpipe final, Japan’s Ayumu Hirano became the first rider to land a triple cork in an Olympic halfpipe contest. He fell later in his run, which kept him from a high score.
