Bend’s new transitional shelter, Stepping Stone, opens

The former Value Inn on Division Street in Bend opened Tuesday as Stepping Stone, a low-barrier transitional shelter. Each unit of Stepping Stone has its own bathroom, kitchenette, and some have wheelchair accessibility. It's a collaborative effort by the City of Bend and NeighborImpact.
