It’s sad to see one of the cornerstones of Bend go down like this.

I dont think president Obama had much to do with this. More like the min wage hike in oregon, not to mention the quality of food went down along with service. Bend is a food mecca.Places like applebees, ihop,fat Tuesdays struggle.
I wouldn’t call Bend a “food Mecca”. It does have a lot of good places to have a nice meal. Applebee’s food as well as the service went downhill a long time ago.
What Bend needs is a good restaurant that serves seafood other than the Old Mill.
