Local cat cafe celebrates second anniversary

Bend, Ore. (KTVZ) — Bend's only cat cafe, Playful Paws, is celebrating its second anniversary tomorrow. Alongside their birthday. They're also marking their 300th adoption.

This Saturday between 10:00 a.m. until 10 p.m there will be live music, vendors, and a raffle.

Owner, April Ferguson says Bend has really taken to their unique business. "
“It's been an awesome experience. We have had great turnout from the community. Lots of supportive people, tons of adopters. We've had lots of local adoptions. We've had some go all the way as far as Maryland. So it's just been amazing." 

During the anniversary, admission to the cat rom will be discounted. Every cat at the cafe is up for adoption, and there'll be some new kittens there as well.
