“Toddler of the Year” Contestant in Central Oregon
Redmond, Ore. (KTVZ) — A local toddler is nearing the quarter finals for a “toddler of the year” competition.
Cedar sanders and his family lives in Redmond. Earlier this year, they entered the “Toddler of the Year” contest, which benefits Toys for Tots.
By popular vote, Cedar is entering the top 100 remaining contestants as a wildcard.
Everyone can vote for one toddler for free, but you can pay to get more votes. That money goes back to buying new toys for toys for tots that will be donated this Christmas.
Every parent thinks their toddler is special, but his parents say Cedar stands out. "Cedar says every kid that he ever meets, and every person that he ever meets is his friend." Said William Sanders, his parent. "you know that shocker red hair anywhere. And he is such a kind and funny and creative kid, and he will just brighten your day just by being in your presence ”
If Cedar wins, he gets a cash prize and a trip to a Peppa pig theme park. He would also be featured in toys for tots adverting.
Even if he doesn’t win, all the money for all the contestants will go to buy toys for kids in need this Christmas.
