Junior Forecaster: Redmond sixth-grader June loves the ‘random’ weather

June provided the weather forecast for the region Wednesday as we prepare for some snowy conditions. June is in sixth grade at Obsidian Middle School in Redmond and enjoys studying ELA, which stands for English, language and arts. This will be a big help in the future, if she decides to become a journalist, as it improves her writing, grammar and pronunciation. June is also in Band, and plays the trumpet.

Her fascination with weather revolves around the "randomness" that is associated with forecasting. She did a wonderful job keeping Central Oregon safe this week, in light of all the wintry weather in the forecast.
