BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- Aiden gave our Chief Meteorologist John Carroll a hand with the forecast this week. Aiden is a fourth-grade student at Trinity Lutheran School in Bend and really likes science and math.

Aiden loves science because he wants to become an astronaut some day, so that will come in handy. The reason he enjoys math is because of the variety of ways there are to solve problems. He was excellent in applying both science and math to the forecast.

Aiden also has a favorite time of year, fall. He enjoys the mild weather, but he also likes it when the leaves are falling all around. He likes the month of October since his favorite holiday is Halloween.

Thanks, Aiden, for helping with the weather forecast! You can see more segments and a nomination form on this page, under the Contests tab.
