BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- To be a meteorologist, it is important to study math and earth sciences, so you can handle the complex weather scenarios that impact the world.

Our Junior Forecaster this week is Wylie, a third-grade student at Lava Ridge Elementary who enjoys both math and earth sciences. Actually, the earth sciences refers to riding his scooter outside on a sunny day and playing with his dog, but his favorite subject in school is math.

Wylie doesn't mind the rain but would prefer a dry day and a warmer day. Since spring is here, he should be able to get both warm days with a few showers. Thanks, Wylie, for helping with our weather forecast!
