Junior Forecaster: Leslie can turn math into art

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- Leslie is a fifth-grade student who is homeschooled, called Classical Conversation, and is a fan of mathematics. Leslie not only enjoys the equations, but finds it fun to make art out of the numbers.

Her favorite time of year is the summer and enjoys heading to the pool to cool off at times. Summer is not her only favorite season, Leslie also likes looking at the fall foliage and checking out lovely colors.

What she enjoys most about the weather is that it "changes whenever it wants" and therefore a bit of a challenge to forecast.
