Junior Forecaster: Wilds engineered the forecast today

Wilds is a 3rd grade student at Silver Rail Elementary School and is a fan of engineering and science. Wilds has his own soldering gun and enjoys taking apart electronic toys to figure out how they work and fixing them or making them better. He is also a fan of surfing and snow boarding.

A good portion of the year Wilds can be found on the Big Island in Hawaii where he is fearless in the water. A great swimmer and surfer, Wilds enjoys the warm water around Hawaii vs. the chilly water of the Bend Whitewater Park on the Deschutes River.
