Junior Forecaster: Ayvah enjoys climatological data regarding meteorology, and cooler weather

Ayvah is a sixth grade student at Pilot Butte Middle School and just finished up a unit on weather. She really likes the climatological aspect to meteorology and is fascinated by the 30-year averages that make up our climate reports.

Ayvah enjoys the mid-50s as opposed to the mid-70s mainly because of the fashion choices. If you have temperatures in the 50s you can switch up your outfits easier. According to Ayvah "When temperatures are in the 50s you can still wear shorts, and feel okay, but you can also wear a sweater and feel okay."

You can tell Ayvah really likes the world of weather, and would like to thank her teacher Ms. Overly, who taught her all about climate and weather.
