Warming trend to continue through the weekend

Warming conditions continue as we head into the weekend, the last weekend of Winter 2023-24.  High pressure over the eastern Pacific will continue to provide us with dry weather and as time moves along, warmer temperature readings.  The high temps over the weekend will be in the 60s, about 8 - 12 degrees above our normal highs of the low 50s.

The clear skies at night will allow us to dip into the upper 20s, but due to the solar energy from daybreak, we will warm up quickly each morning.  The long-range models are forecasting a dry period that will last until at least the end of next week.

The Vernal Equinox will occur on Tuesday at 8:06 pm as the direct rays of the Sun cross the equator. This gives us equal parts daylight and darkness, then we get more daylight than darkness until the Summer Solstice.

Enjoy the mild and dry weather this weekend, there is still a lot of snow on the mountains and Spring season skiing is always a nice bonus.
