Dry and sunny start to the work week

Happy Sunday!

We enjoyed another calm weather day, with dry, sunny skies and temperatures climbing into the mid-40s to low 50s. Partly cloudy conditions are expected in the later hours.

Our lows will once again drop into the 20s and teens. There could be some fog overnight as well as some frosty windshields and grassy areas.

The dry and sunny pattern will continue through the next several days. We're not expecting rain or snow until late in the week.

Tomorrow highs will climb into the 40s in most parts of the region.

Today begins the meteorological winter, defined by the three coldest months of the year in the northern hemisphere (Dec, Jan and Feb). We begin astronomical winter on December 21st. This will be the shortest day of the year before daylight hours become longer.

Enjoy the rest of your day.
