Above-normal temps until Friday, then below normal through the weekend

If you’re waking up with us before sunrise, look up! You’ll see the first full moon of 2025, named the “Wolf Moon.” Overnight, it passed in front of Mars, temporarily obscuring the planet. It will appear full again tonight–in case you missed it!

Highs today will reach the mid and upper 40s, with a couple areas even hitting the 50-degree mark this afternoon. You can expect blue skies through your day, with a few clouds rolling in this evening. Lows tonight will dip into the teens and 20s once again.

There is a chance for patchy freezing fog this morning. We will continue to see patchy freezing fog develop overnight into the early morning for a few more day this week.

A ridge of high pressure overhead that is helping to keep us dry, mild, and our skies mostly sunny will flatten out by the end of the week. Until then, you can expect above normal temperatures ranging from the mid 40s to the low 50s. The next few days will be perfect to get outside and walk your dog or ride your bike. Enjoy the sunshine!

By Friday, however, cold arctic air moves in from the north and temperatures will drop pretty drastically, into the 30s. We’ll have cold nights and crisp afternoons through the entire weekend.

Happy Tuesday and have a good day.
