Plenty of sunshine today, passing shower late Thursday, cooler into the weekend

A slight haze has overtaken the region as lingering moisture in the atmosphere is filtering the sunshine slightly. Tonight will be mostly clear with temperatures in the upper 30s, except for southern portions of Deschutes County who will bottom out near freezing.

Thursday will be partly to mostly cloudy to start, then a passing shower is slated to cross the area late in the day.  There may be some light mountain snow and some light rain at lower elevations.  Not a big event, and most may not even see rain. Highs will be in the low 70s, occurring before the rain cools the region.

Friday will be cooler after the showers pass late Thursday, and we will be dry for several days. The mountains will see more light snow Saturday, but not much moisture makes it east of the Cascades. Temps Saturday will be on the cool side, topping out near 50, then slowly rise as we start the new week. Still in the 50s Sunday, then the 60s Monday and Tuesday.

Please stay safe.
