Quiet pattern to start the new work week

Our severe storms yesterday that generated 1” hail in some spots and at least 0.05” hail in a number of other locations have come and gone.  Thank you to everyone that posted pictures of the hail on our Facebook page, it is always helpful when we can get images from our viewers.

This week will be much less active, and temperatures will be below normal until the weekend.

Mostly sunny skies today and partly cloudy skies will define Central Oregon weather today and tomorrow. Highs will be in the low 80s Monday through Thursday before reaching the middle 80s by Friday.

Tuesday will see a mixture of clouds and sunshine with more sunshine than clouds.   This will allow highs to reach the low and even middle 80s in some locations like Madras and Warm Springs.

Wednesday will be mostly cloudy as some spotty showers develop over the Cascades and counties along the Columbia River. There may be some light rain in Sisters, but nothing more than a few hours.  The rainy and cloudy skies will keep the temps from getting much warmer than the low 80s.

Thursday will start a warming trend that will end up getting the area back into the 90s by the weekend.
