Dry pattern this week, slightly above normal temperatures
Bend, Ore (KTVZ). Dry and chilly night ahead as the skies clear and the temperatures drop into the upper 20s and low 30s. Light wind will also contribute to the chilly night ahead as wind sometimes keeps the region a bit warmer. This quiet pattern is expected to continue through the week.
Tuesday will be chilly with high temperatures expected to be in the upper 40s. Normal high for this time of November is around 48 so we are going to be on point temperature-wise. Mostly sunny skies are expected as well. Clear again Tuesday night into Wednesday along with a colder pocket of air from the north will get the mercury into the teens and 20s.
Wednesday is going to be slightly warmer after the cold starting out in the 20s. There will be a few clouds building as the day moves along so we can define the day as partly to mostly cloudy.
Thursday will see a slight chance for some precipitation in southern Deschutes County in the morning, but it seems to be a bit of a longshot. Most of the models have backed off the moister originally slated for Thursday morning. I will keep a slight chance in the forecast for now, but trends are leaning toward a drier package.
Friday, Saturday and Sunday will be quiet and dry with highs in the low to middle 50s under mostly to partly cloudy skies.
Please, Stay safe.
