Snow Report: Thursday January 4th

Snow has been falling on the mountains through the day, accumulations have been light but there is new snow. About 3 - 5" is a good estimation for the day, much more snow is likely on Saturday and we are about to embark on a snowy period. Sunday will be dry, but chilly, so that should be a nice day on the mountains. A series of weather disturbances will slide over the region next week and provide the area with a decent to significant amount of new snow for the first full week of January.
