Snow Report: February 5th

Bands of rain and mountain snow will continue to push north across the forecast area today as an upper low pressure system sits just offshore the western US. A this morning precipitation rates will increase slightly across the mountainous terrain, especially along areas of the Cascade east slopes and the eastern mountains.  By the end of this evening, these ridges may see an additional 3 to 5 inches of snowfall, with generally less than an inch or two across the rest of the mountain areas.
