Snow Report: Sunny and mild, quiet all weekend

The Cascades should not be expecting any new snow this weekend as the ridge of high pressure is still overhead. We have been dealing with a temperature inversion in the region, meaning there is a thin layer of warm air trapped above the cold air at the surface and the colder air high in the sky. This has resulted in warmer temps at the top of the mountains than at the base. The inversion and the dry, above normal temperatures are not expected to disappear and should persist through the weekend. Stay Safe.
