Local Alert Weather 0519 PM
Hello Central Oregon!
A great day for the PPP! Started the day off with some light rain showers, but that quickly cleared out by 9 o’clock this morning. Our skies quickly turned to sunshine and warm temperatures. Daytime highs reached the low 70’s throughout the region, which is around average for us. Winds will be breezy throughout the evening, but calm down tonight. When you’re asleep there’s a chance rain showers could move through the region.
When you wake up tomorrow there’s a slight chance of pop up showers. For the most part our skies remain cloudy and our temperatures stay around average in the upper 60’s to lower 70’s. During the evening winds will pick up again, but be brief and calm down once you head to bed. Around this time, our skies will clear and stay that way Monday.
While we stick with mostly sunny skies, our temperatures will begin to rise. Monday’s daytime highs will be in the low to mid 70’s. From there our temperatures continue to rise.
Tuesday, daytime highs will be about 20 degrees about average in the low to mid 80’s. Clouds begin to push in on Tuesday, which will bring rain showers and possibly thunderstorms on Wednesday. The rain showers will stick around and be scattered throughout the rest of the week.
