Local Alert Weather, Tue. AM, 5.22.18
Good Tuesday Morning, Everyone…
Just enough high pressure will stay in place today to give us the sunniest, warmest day of the week. Highs across the region will range from the mid 70’s to low 80’s and northerly breezes will be gentle at 5-10 mph. Those gentle northerly breezes will stay with us tonight. Skies will stay mostly clear and overnight lows will remain quite mild, in the upper 40’s to mid 50’s.
Heavier amounts of moisture advancing from the Pacific will press in over these warm temperatures during the next couple of days. That will deliver a chance of thunderstorms and rain showers that will likely stay with us right through the end of the week and into the weekend. This potential storm activity will start to break up late Saturday. That will mean some gradual clearing through the Memorial Day weekend. Daytime highs Saturday through Monday are expected to be in the low to mid 70’s
