Redmond PD suffers power failure, phone-net outage

The Redmond Police Department building suffered a power failure Monday morning and as a result, all phone and internet networking is currently unavailable, the agency said shortly before noon.

“If you are attempting to call the business line of the Redmond Police Department, your call is not getting through at this time. Please try back later,” the department said.

In addition, office staff are unable to assist people seeking records or release of vehicle impounds at the lobby window.

Police said calls to 911 and to non-emergency dispatch are not affected, and officers are still doing business as usual.
