Local Alert Weather, Fri. AM, 3-22-19
Good Friday Morning, Everyone…
While we enjoy an early day break between storm systems, a change in the air flow pattern will bring an increasing cloud cover from the SW and a chance of some late day showers. Highs will remain a bit on the cool side, ranging from the mid 40’s to low 50’s. Southerly breezes will pick up to 5-15 mph as the next system presses in. We have a chance of mixed showers tonight as lows get down to freezing and a little below.
Scattered showers will continue through Saturday and Saturday night. Highs will only reach the mid 40’s. With lows dropping below freezing Saturday night we will see a chance of some mixed showers before the systems breaks up. Sunday promises to be a pretty fair day. Skies will be mostly sunny to partly cloudy and highs will reach the low to mid 50’s. Thickening clouds Sunday night will mark the beginning of the next system moving in. That system will deliver a chance of rain showers that will last through the end of the work week. Highs will stay a bit below average, topping out in the upper 40’s to low 50’s. With overnight lows dipping below freezing that chance of showers will add a chance of some scattered snow showers.
