Local Alert Weather – Tues. PM
Happy Tuesday evening, everyone!
Tonight we’ll see increasing clouds ahead of the next system moving into Central Oregon. We’ll see partly sunny skies turn mostly cloudy by the morning. Overnight lows will be in the upper 20s and lower 30s , which is above average. Winds will gust around 15 miles per hour.
Tomorrow will see a chance for mixed showers already by the time we wake up. The Cascades will see some light snow showers during this time, but Central Oregon will mainly see rain. Some roads could be slick in the morning. Snow levels will be around 5,000 ‘ to begin the day.
Throughout the day we’ll see scattered rain showers, then a slight chance for thunderstorms develops by the afternoon. Highs will top out in the upper 40s and lower 50s . Winds will gust around 15 to 20 miles per hour with some instability across the area.
Heading into Thursday activity will calm as we see a break in between shower chances. Temperatures will be in the low to mid 30s .
Thursday sees a chance for showers during the day with mostly cloudy skies as well. The afternoon brings another chance for thunderstorms before this system wraps up and conditions calm. Highs will be in the upper 40s and lower 50s .
Friday begins the calm weather pattern with variable clouds, but dry conditions. Temperatures will keep warming going into the weekend, and we’ll top out in the upper 50s and lower 60s .
