Local Alert Weather, Wed. AM, 3-27-19
Good Wednesday Morning, Everyone…
A very wet system that is already bringing heavy rain and some snow to northern California has begun to move into southern Oregon. It will bring rain, heavy at times, to Central Oregon through the day and into tonight. Highs will be in the mid to upper 40’s. SE breezes will reach 5-15 mph with gusts much higher to our east. A chance of showers will stay with us tonight with lows in the low to mid 30’s and calm winds.
Cloudy, rainy conditions are likely to stay with us for the rest of the work week, with some break up starting to take place late Friday. This break up will set us up for a very fair weekend. We will be under partly cloudy skies Saturday and Sunday with highs that will range from the mid 50’s to around 60 degrees. You will want to get out and enjoy this beautiful weekend as the next system will push in Monday bringing more rain and cooler temps back to the high desert through the middle of the week. Welcome to spring!
