Oregon Lottery creates State Parks Day limited-edition pin
On Saturday, Oregon State Parks aren’t the only thing that is free. Commemorate the day with a free, limited-edition 2019 Oregon State Parks “Go Play” pin.
The pin is a partnership between the Oregon Lottery and the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department to help highlight State Parks Day, June 1. The pin was created by the Oregon Lottery.
The free pins will be available at more than two dozen state parks on Saturday, June 1. Ask a park ranger or volunteer at each park how to collect your commemorative pin. Only 3,000 pins are available, so supplies are limited. Once a park is out, they’re out for good. Get there early!
A complete list of the participating state parks where the limited-edition pins will be available can be found on the Oregon State Parks website.
Saturday’s State Parks Day also features free events and other activities at state parks throughout Oregon. The list of participating parks and their events can also be found on the Oregon State Parks website.
Since 1999, the Oregon Lottery has provided more than $750 million in proceeds to help maintain Oregon’s state parks. This includes funding the purchase of new park land and dollars to keep state parks open year-round.
