Monday PM Local Alert Weather Forecast

KTVZ

Happy Monday Central Oregon!

Another hot day on the High Desert and we are once again looking at some clouds starting to build in along the Cascades and to our south.

With the cloud coverage we are once again looking at chances for thunderstorms for parts of the High Desert through the evening hours.

We will also likely once again see those winds pick up out of the north at 5-15 MPH with gusts up around 20 MPH for parts of the region.

Overnight we should see those clouds clear and temperatures will dip down into the mid to upper 50s which is on the arm side for lows this time of the year.

Those clouds that we will see build in through the evening should clear out by the morning and make way for a sunny start on Tuesday.

Tuesday looks to be another hot day with highs in the mid 90s.

Tuesday evening will bring more chances thunderstorms in the evening.

That chance for evening thunderstorms will continue through the work week with our best chance for some rain and storm coming on Friday.

We will also see temperatures start to take a dip by the end of the week and into the weekend we are looking at daytime highs in the low 80s to 70s.

Have a great rest of your day Central Oregon!
