Weekly Park Pick: Shevlin Park is Bend’s largest, and a very special nature spot

Bend’s Shevlin Park has been a community landmark for over 100 years. It spans nearly 1,000 acres, making it the largest park in town, on the forested western edge of the city. It was also used in the 1975 film Rooster Cogburn. Jillian Fortner takes us there in this week’s Park Picks.
