All five board members for La Pine Park & Rec resign and terminate all employees at emotional emergency meeting
La Pine Park and recreation no longer has board members or employees as the board members resign and employees are terminated during Wednesday morning meeting. Dozens were in person or via zoom for the emergency meeting as things got emotional and tense after the board member resigned. La Pine Park and Recreation cancelled all youth sports last week due to harrasment and threats. Now the Deschutes County Commissioners are called upon to appoint new board members.
