Redmond woman crashes SUV through fence, into mini-storage units; no injuries reported

REDMOND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- A Redmond woman crashed her SUV through a fence and into a mini-storage business off Northwest Sixth Street Thursday morning, but police said no injuries were reported.
Officers and medics responded around 7:25 a.m. to the crash of a 2019 Subaru Outback into Northwest Self Storage, Lieutenant Eric Beckwith said.
The 53-year-old Redmond woman was alone and heading west on NW Maple Avenue when her SUV left the road, crashed through the fence and struck some storage units, Beckwith said. Three were damaged
There were no signs of impairment involving the driver, but the woman reported a possible mechanical problem and said she was having difficulty steering at the time, the lieutenant said. No citations have been issued at this time, Beckwith added.
