Showers continue today but will taper off and clear out heading into the weekend

Bend, OR (KTVZ) -

Today is really the last day you need to plan for rain. Showers are possible at any time today so hold on to your raincoat for the day. Rain will be spotty and light but everyone has the chance to see some. Tomorrow, rain will clear out and we’ll see drier conditions for the foreseeable future.

Clouds will hang around for a couple of days but sunshine should return by Sunday.

Temperatures are in the 50s and lower 60s today. The cooler than normal pattern will continue through the weekend. Overnight lows are in the 30s and low 40s for another one or two nights but then will drop into the 20s and 30s after that.

A ridge of high pressure will start to build sometime next week which will have afternoon temperatures heating back into the 60s and lower 70s.

Happy Thursday. Have a nice day.
