New Applebee’s IHOP restaurant opens in Redmond, offering exclusive menu
REDMOND, Ore. (KTVZ) — A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held today at the new Applebee's IHOP collaboration in Redmond, marking a rare partnership between the two popular restaurant chains.
The event was attended by the Redmond Chamber of Commerce, the mayor, and guests eager to experience the unique dining options offered by the collaboration. The building retains characteristics of Applebee's while incorporating IHOP branding and colors.
"I'm excited about being able to bring more family-oriented businesses to Redmond," said Megan Dennison, the General Manager. "I've been here basically my whole life, so it's good to see. And there's not a lot of breakfast places, so we're going to be able to bring them in."
During the ceremony, five tables had already been seated, with more patrons arriving as the event progressed. Guests expressed enthusiasm for the new dining experience, anticipating the unique menu items available exclusively at this location.
This collaboration is rare in the United States, offering menu items not sold at individual IHOP or Applebee's restaurants. Dennison expressed her excitement for the restaurant's role in bringing families together during the holiday season, noting that it will be open on Thanksgiving and Christmas.
The opening of the Applebee's IHOP collaboration in Redmond is expected to provide a new dining option for families, enhancing the community's culinary landscape with its distinctive offerings.
