Bend’s Hawthorne Crossing Bridge enters new phase under state leadership

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- A major Bend bridge project is entering a new phase, with the Oregon Department of Transportation leading the effort. City leaders will get an update on the Hawthorne Overcrossing bridge, over Highway 97 — including design details, costs, and what comes next — at Wednesday’s City Council work session.
