Snow Report: Spotty snowfall brings fresh snow to two ski areas, others go without
Skiers and snowboarders woke up to a little refresh on local slopes Sunday morning. Mt. Bachelor picked up one inch of new snow in the past 24 hours, adding a soft layer on top of a well-groomed base.
Over at Mt. Hood Meadows, riders saw a little more of a boost — about two new inches of snow, making for some fresh turns and a softer feel on the runs.
Other Oregon ski areas reported no new snowfall, but crews are keeping conditions strong with continued grooming. That means plenty of smooth, fast runs across the mountain while we wait for the next winter system to move in.
