Dry and mild Thursday, chance for patchy freezing fog

KTVZ-TV

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) - Dry conditions continue into Thursday under the ridge of high pressure. There is a chance for patchy freezing fog this morning.

Skies will be partly cloudy this afternoon with highs in the upper 40s to low 50s, though any lingering fog could keep a few locations cooler.

Skies turn mostly cloudy overnight. Temperatures will dip into the 20s across the region.

Friday will be partly to mostly cloudy across the region with highs in the low 50s. That also marks a shift in our weather pattern as snow returns to the Cascades late Friday, after sunrise, and continues into early Saturday morning.

Valentine’s Day brings periods of rain and snow during the day. Accumulations look light, but showers could still create slick road conditions. Highs stay in the mid to upper 40s through the weekend.

Sunday offers a brief break with dry, cloudy conditions before more rain and snow move in on President’s Day. An on and off wet pattern continues into early next week, with highs falling back into the low to mid 40s on Monday.
