Cooler today, dry conditions continue

KTVZ-TV

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) - We are breaking from the mild trend as colder air moves into the region. Expect mostly sunny conditions this morning with increasing clouds as we move through Monday.

We have officially sprung forward! The sun rises a little later this morning but we’ll enjoy more daylight in the evening.

Highs will top out in the 40s this afternoon and it may feel breezy at times.

We’re starting the work week with dry conditions, so expect a cooler and quiet Tuesday. Highs will be in the 40s again with partly sunny to mostly cloudy skies.

Precipitation increases overnight Tuesday into Wednesday for the Cascades. Central Oregon may see a brief mix of rain and snow, but most of the moisture is expected to stay in the mountains.

We’ll warm into the 50s Wednesday with mostly cloudy skies.

Temperatures will gradually warm from midweek into the weekend, climbing into the mid 50s and possibly near 60 by Sunday. With the milder air in place and rising snow levels, any showers that develop will likely fall as rain or a wintry mix.
