Pattern changing from dry to wet

KTVZ-TV

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) - Plan on mostly dry and chilly conditions today in Central Oregon. Highs will stay in the 40s under partly to mostly cloudy skies.

A Winter Weather Advisory begins at 11 am and lasts through 5 pm Wednesday for the east slopes of the Cascades. Snow is expected above 4,500 feet. Be prepared for snow and wind to impact travel through the mountain passes.

We have a chance for some light rain Wednesday along with breezy winds at times. Early Wednesday morning, there’s a slight chance for a rain and snow mix. Temperatures will warm into the 50s Wednesday afternoon as milder air moves into the region.

Thursday and Friday bring chances for clouds, rain and high-level snow. Expect temperatures to continue to warm into the upper 50s and low 60s.

We’ll continue warming through Saturday and Sunday, with sunshine returning as clouds and showers taper off by the weekend.
