Furry Friends: River has unique eyes and an adventurous spirit!

This week’s Furry Friend is River!

River is an energetic and loving pup with heterochromia, meaning he has two different-colored eyes.

BrightSide Animal Center staff members describe River as smart and protective of his people. His favorite activity at the Redmond shelter is swimming in the dog pool.

“He loves doing tricks and learning, and he loves playing with toys,” shelter coordinator Shey Wensel said. “He’s great on walks and hikes. He’s the best adventure buddy.”

River can be selective with other dogs and does best with those that match his energy. He has also done well with older children during meet-and-greets.

If you would like to meet River, stop by BrightSide Animal Center. The shelter is open from 10am to 5:30pm Tuesday through Sunday.
