Patchy smoke today, gradual warming this week

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) - Temperatures will reach the upper 70s to low 80s today. Enjoy the cooler weather before the heat returns this week.

Expect some smoke and haze today along with the sunshine. Winds will be lighter today, but it remains very dry.

Overnight temperatures will fall into the 40s.

We'll rise to the upper 80s tomorrow with sunny conditions.

Fire danger is elevated tomorrow due to increasing winds and low humidity levels. As of this morning, Warm Springs is included in a Fire Weather Watch for Tuesday.

Temperatures will continue to warm as a ridge of high pressure builds across the region. This will bring highs into the mid 90s by Wednesday.

Thursday will be the hottest day of the week with temperatures nearing the triple digits.

It will stay hot and sunny through Friday and into the weekend. Highs will fall into the low 90s Saturday and Sunday, but that is still above the seasonal average in the mid 80s.
